With these values guiding our practice, we have established a clear set of goals and intentional approaches, developed in line with the National Quality Standard (NQS).

    We believe that strong family–educator partnerships are essential to a child’s growth and wellbeing. When parents and carers are actively involved, children feel more supported, confident, and connected — both at home and in our care.

    We welcome families to engage with our programs in ways that suit their interests, time, and talents. Whether through visiting the service, joining special events and celebrations, participating in parent workshops, or sharing unique skills — every contribution enriches our community. Parents might offer recipes, read a favourite story, assist with cultural activities, or simply spend time observing and connecting.

    We are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which recognises that “Partnerships involve educators, families and support professionals working together to explore the learning potential in everyday events, routines and play so that children with additional needs are provided with daily opportunities to learn through active participation and engagement.”
    This shared approach ensures that all children — including those with additional needs — are supported, respected, and given equitable opportunities to thrive.

    Our service implements sustainable practices that protect our environment and contribute to a healthier future — from recycling and reducing waste to gardening, water conservation, and reusing materials for creativity and play. By learning through hands-on experiences, children develop respect for nature and the knowledge, habits, and values that support a sustainable future for our community and planet.
